The Tree Branch Lamp

AI showed me a tree branch wall lamp that didn’t exist. So I built a real one—and let physics have the final say.

AI keeps showing us objects that look finished—but never had to survive gravity, vibration, moisture, or time. This build started with an AI-generated tree branch wall light that looked incredible… and completely impossible. The more I watched it, the more the illusion fell apart.

So I decided to build my own version in the real world—using 2×4s instead of a real branch, and real tools instead of perfect edits.
