The Wall Clock

This piece started with a constraint: leftover walnut.

Not enough to build something large. Not enough to justify buying more.

But enough to create something meaningful.

At the same time, my kids are learning how to tell time. And I realized—something as simple as a wall clock had quietly disappeared from our home.

So I decided to build one.

Not just to fill a wall…
But to create something they could grow up with. Something they could touch, observe, and understand.

Time, made tangible.
