The Wall Clock
This piece started with leftover walnut and a realization.
My kids were sitting at the table working through their homework, learning how to tell time, when I realized we didn’t actually own a single wall clock. In a house full of screens, something as fundamental as a real, physical clock had completely disappeared.
I didn't have enough walnut to build a large piece of furniture, but I had enough to build a clock.
So I decided to make one- blending the surreal, fluid geometry of Salvador Dalí with the raw, grounded weight of Auguste Rodin. The result is a piece that isn't just meant to fill a spot on the wall, but something tangible for my kids to touch, observe, and grow up with as they learn to navigate time.
